Local Missions

Helping Hands - Helping Hands provides assistance with basic household repairs to church members and others in the community who are unable to provide for those repairs.

Some Other Place - Wesley supports this vital outreach ministry to people in need in our community. Each month, we cook the lunch meal at SOP on the 2nd Tuesdays and the occasional 5th Fridays. We also have year-round collection boxes located in the Sanctuary and Praise Center.

Society of St. Stephen - The society provides financial assistance to those in our community and church who are in need. The fund is supported by the monthly Communion offerings.

Habitat for Humanity - For many years, Wesley has participated in the annual Apostle's Build program of the local division of Habitat for Humanity.  This program partners together 12 local churches to build a Habitat home over 12 Saturdays with each church working on one Saturday.

International Missions

Missionary Support - Wesley is in a Covenant Relationship with Willie Berman, a missionary with the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries.  Willie serves as a missionary in the Methodist Church of Mexico as the Mexican Methodist Border Mission Coordinator.  He helps connect Mexican churches with mission needs with U.S churches looking for places to be in mission service.  Willie was instrumental in helping Wesley begin it's MOSAIC ministry.

MOSAIC (Missions Overseas Assisting International Children) - This missions group’s purpose is to bring Christ's love and support to children in underdeveloped regions of the world. Currently, MOSAIC is working with local volunteers with orphanages in Mexico and Haiti.  In Mexico, we have children in our care who have been rescued from homes and the streets where the suffered from malnurishment, abuse, and neglect.  In Haiti, we have a home for over 60 street-children and help them receive daily food, shelter, and education. For more information, contact Scott Gittinger at scott@mosaicorg.com or go to www.mosaicorg.com

Utila, Honduras - Wesley has for many years had a relationship with the Methodist Church located on the island of Utila in Honduras. At various times, we have taken mission trips to work on construction and community outreach.

For more information about each ministry and how to become involved please contact Rev. Mark Bunch or call the church office, 892-7733.
