Mark Bunch was appointed the Associate Pastor of Wesley UMC in June 2006. Mark grew up in Alvin, Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance in 1995. He also attended Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University where he received his Masters of Divinity in 1999. Prior to coming to Wesley UMC Mark has served as the Pastor of Eylau UMC in Texarkana and as an Associate Pastor at Bear Creek UMC in Houston.

Mark and his wife, Erin, of San Antonio, Texas, met while in college and were married in 1995. They have two school-aged children, Thomas and Elizabeth.

In his ministry, Mark desires to help people continue to deepen their relationship with God and each other. He hopes that people will discover how their faith truly impacts every aspect of their life from their family to work to daily interactions with others. Mark truly believes in the power of the church to transform communities and lives.

Mark is an avid sports fan, especially baseball and UT sports. He also enjoys fishing, camping, computers, and reading. Mark also serves as the Head of Umpires for West End Little League Baseball.
