Reverend Wineva Hankamer joined Wesley as our Minister of Adult Christian Education in June 2009. Wineva is a Deacon in Full Connection in the Texas Annual Conference with certification in Christian Education through a Master’s Degree from Scarritt College in Nashville Tennessee.
Her ministries at Wesley will include Adult Ministries including Bible Studies, classes and groups for adults for learning and spiritual growth, Singles, Family, Older Adults, Emmaus, and Men’s and Women’s Ministries.
Beaumont is not a new location for Wineva as she has served in prior years at First United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church. Hobbies include reading, traveling, stick weaving, and movies. She lives at Eagles Landing with her cat, Gypsy Rose, and a rabbit named Black Velvet Elvis.
Prior to serving at Wesley, Wineva served Strawbridge United Methodist Church in Kingwood, Texas. Before that, she was campus director at a 75-acre mission training camp in east central Alabama, SIFAT International (Servants in Faith and Technology).
