Jesus gathered a small group of 12 to learn from him and follow him. He taught them and all the people in parables, lessons from their daily lives to help them understand heavenly things. He quoted Scripture to them and even became Scripture for them.
At Wesley we hope adults will accept Christ as their Savior at an early age and continue in their growth through adulthood. Even if an adult is a “new” Christian”, we offer Christian Education for Adults in the form of Sunday School Classes, Bible Studies, Small Groups for learning, fellowship, sharing interests, support, and service. We believe that each member is a minister and has a special calling in the life of our congregation and that our work is to help invite, train and support persons to be in ministry not only in our church, but also in the community around us.
From the Parmer Library to the Wednesday night class, from the Sunday School, to mission and a servant heart, we offer opportunities to grow spiritually and in living biblically within a safe community of faith.
