To Know God And To Make God Known

Dinners for Eight is a wonderful way to spread fellowship amon

Three couples (or combination of singles and couples) agree to take turns hosting dinner in their homes for three months. Each month the host couple is in charge of the entrée and beverages. The other two couples in the group bring appetizers, salad, bread and dessert. The guests are invited by the host home each month. This commitment is for three months.

Everyone who indicates an interest by registering will be invited to the kickoff to meet the people in their dinner rotation and talk about calendars. The idea is to blend as many of our congregation with each other without the separation of Sunday School walls or worship times. Join us for some great food and fellowship in an intimate setting around the dinner table!

For more information you may email or telephone Rev. Wineva Hankamer, Minister of Adult Christian Education, 409-892-7733. This experience is being sponsored by the Adult Discipleship Ministries Team.

Next series of Dinners for Eight will begin in September with signs up taken in July and August (see form below). Kick off will be Sunday August 26 at 4pm in The Parlor. Bring your calendars and meet your D48 group for the fall season.
