Alyson Stewart
Director of Youth Ministries
Alyson Bollich Stewart is Wesley's Director of Youth Ministries and brings to the role a commitment to authentic Christian activities that deepen the faith of young people from a variety of backgrounds. She believes that meaningful, youth-oriented worship experiences and mission projects, as well as Bible study and social events, help to form young adults with strong spiritual values.
A Beaumont native, Alyson attended local schools before completing a bachelor's degree in education at Lamar University in 2005. She spent more than three years as an assistant and then full-time youth director at a west Beaumont church before joining the Wesley staff in fall, 2007.
She's been married since 2004 to Michael Stewart, whom she met when they were fellow students at Texas Academy of Leadership in the Humanities at Lamar. He also plays an active role in the youth ministry. Alyson enjoys hanging out at Barnes and Noble with friends and family, creative cooking, decorating her apartment, and making detailed "to do" lists.
