My name is Meredith Love. I am thrilled to be the new Director of Wesley Day School. I am a native Beaumont resident and actually live in the house I grew up in. I come to you with 30 years of teaching experience in Elementary Education and Special Education (K-12). I have my ESL and Gifted/Talented Endorsements and a Reading Minor. I retired from teaching public school in May of 2016. I LOVE children and knew that the opportunity to direct our wonderful school was a once in a lifetime chance so HERE I AM! I am proud to be the wife of Terry Love and a mother of 4 grown children. Our son is 30, oldest daughter is 27 and we have twin daughters that are 21. My husband and I spend as much time as possible in Nacogdoches, Texas where our twins are in school at SFASU and our oldest daughter resides there with her family. I am an avid crafter and have a very creative soul.
Our Wesley Day School Assistant directors are Karen Stewart and Christine Haynes. Karen has been with Wesley Day School for 9 years serving as our Assistant Director of Business Management. She and her husband Patrick have a beautiful 13-year-old daughter and reside in Beaumont. Christine is moving into her role as Assistant Director of Program Advancement from our church side of the campus as the former Children’s Ministry Director. Christine recently completed dual certification courses in Christian Education and Children’s Ministry at Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas. She and her husband Jason love living in Beaumont with their wonderful son and daughter who attend West Brook High School.
